Hybroad Vision Started IPTV/OTT Service in Africa

Attribute to the super-fast broadband, Liquid Telecom is providing fixed line service as well as access to ipidi tv (Now is named “kwese”) IPTV service. kwese tv service has been deployed in Zambia and Kenya commercially. It enables customers to download or stream movies, series, documentaries and more to their TV, PC, tablet or mobile phone.


As Liquid Telecom has been dedicating to operate a nationwide fiber network with cross-border connectivity in Africa. The service of kwese tv will overwhelming to Zimbabwe and Rwanda and other countries in the coming months. That’s would account for a milestone for Hybroad Vision started IPTV/OTT service in Africa. Now, as Liquid Telecom becomes one of subsidiaries of Econet, it has taken over kwese tv. We believed that kwese tv will have a prospective future with booster of Econet in Africa.


Next Gen 4K STB with Applications of Netflix and Youtube


For next generation IPTV/OTT product, Hybroad proposed a HEVC STB that enables customers to have better viewing experience, and also it saves operators’ half bandwidth on the same time. Moreover, the new STB also provides Netflix, Youtube and other stylish applications to enrich customers using experience.
